I am a private Consultant Neurologist practicing by appointment only in the Galway Clinic and in our practice rooms in the Westward Town Centre/Sligo.

Our practice team Bronagh (in our Galway Office) and Caitriona (in our Sligo Office) will try to help you whenever possible.

We use GDPR-compliant Medical-AI-Scribe-software, but only with your written consent. Of note, such software does not record your voice or our conversation but instead converts our conversation into a written transcript. Aim of using medical AI is to allow more time for interaction between patient and doctor and to improve documentation.

In the interest of best and independent diagnostics, treatment and care of our patients WE HAVE NOT and WE DO NOT accept any kind of gifts, hospitality and sponsorship from pharmaceutical or other companies.

Dear Patients,

In our Sligo and Galway rooms, for additional safety for our elderly, and patients with cancer and on immunomudulating/immunesupressive treatments, we are equipped with air purifiers with the latest HEPA filters as well with Perspex screens on our desks in our Sligo rooms .

Entering our examination rooms (not in the waiting area) you will still have to wear a mask covering your mouth and nose in order to protect yourself and ourselves and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, RSV and flu. We will provide you with the necessary masks.

In case of any signs of cough, sore throat and fever and other flu-like symptoms, please postpone the appointment with us and let us know as soon as possible.

If you are a new patient please ask your GP to forward a referral letter to us. We unfortunately cannot accept self-referrals.

Our catchment area is the West and North-West of Ireland. Due to our waiting list we unfortunately cannot take referrals from the following counties: 1. Dublin, 2. Kildare ,3. Wexford, 4. Wicklow, 5. Waterford, 6. Cork, 7. Louth, 8. Carlow, 9. Laois, 10. Kerry, 12. Kilkenny, 13. Monaghan, 14. Meath or from Northern Ireland or from abroad.

Any form of verbal or physical abuse (per phone, per email, per text, per social media, in the practice rooms or in the public) towards any of our staff will not be tolerated and will lead to an immediate referral back to the referring doctor and might even lead to legal action including calling the gards.

We all have the right to work undisturbed in a safe environment.
